This book was just what I wanted. It gives a background into the whole problem of climate change resulting from carbon emissions, understandable to a layman. It also describes ways to address the problem, the pros and cons of various proposed solutions, and I completely agree that there is no one solution, but many that have to work together. The Green New Deal people should read this. It is intelligent, understandable, and it gets more technical for those who are interested.
This is a well written and accessible book about an important technology for the energy and industrial economies. Dr. Herzog gives practical examples and points out the important role carbon capture will play in our future.
Herzog presents foundational knowledge in an easy-to-read format, on this topic of Carbon Capture, which should play an important role in controlling the impacts of CO2 while allowing for continued use of the world's extensive supply of fossil fuels.
